Welcome to Umani Lodge

Umani Springs offers exclusive use for up to ten guests across three private cottage units. Fully staffed with excellent chefs, the lodge offers a unique safari experience with guided forest walks, on-site gym, and lagoon pool. Guests enjoy special access to the orphaned elephants at the Umani Reintegration Unit.

Tucked amidst the leafy trees of the Kibwezi Forest, Umani Springs offers the epitome of African comfort. Relax in the open-air lodge and watch bushbucks graze on the lawn, while the orphaned elephants enjoy the mud bath just beyond.

Guests at Umani Springs can explore the ancient Kibwezi Forest on game drives and guided walks. Back at the lodge, spend lazy afternoons by the lagoon pool or venture out for picnics and sundowners in the Chyulu Hills. As darkness falls, the forest comes alive with the sounds of the night.

This property also offers exclusive visiting privileges to the Trust’s Umani Springs Reintegration Unit, where you can meet the orphaned elephants and their devoted Keepers — a rare, intimate encounter with conservation in action.
